  They used the same tongs for meat and salads. I could see bits of meat in my vegetarian falafel and in the lettuce/salads. Appalled by the food safety standards at this store.

  To begin my flavoursome expedition, I started by challenging the iconic meal, the YIROS. It all began with the first bite. Each bite had the perfect consistency of each individual ingredient. For my meal, I had a combination Yiros; consisting of all three meats available- chicken, lamb and beef. For my toppings I chose tabouli, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, garlic sauce and some onions. Each of these toppings complemented each other. From the beautiful taste of the juicy tender meat, to the fresh delicate vegetables and the renowned garlic sauce which helped to bring all the flavours together. This wrap was exciting, as it was bursting with flavour but also had a comforting warm sensation. It was a blast from the past, taking me back to my childhood. From that first bite to the last, it was a dream come true. Truly the only meal that would satisfy even the hardest of critics.

  Upon encountering the food stall, you are presented with the mouth-watering fragrance of the juicy meat complemented by the fresh, bright and colourful vegetables. The waiter takes your order politely, with the kindest of smiles. Once the order is placed they haste towards the head chef and clarify the order. They then ask for your toppings, depending on which meal you order. I was surprised at the speed of the preparation of the first component- being the meat, and I began to wonder if the meat was still luscious. Before I knew it, my meals were ready and they were asking me if I requested a drink. I was amazed, the service and preparation of the food was over in a blink of an eye.

  I decided to have a delightful plate of nachos. The preparation time of this dish was in between that of a yiros and a crepe. Although it was actually slightly longer in preparation time, it felt just as fast as the yiros preperation. The nachos I ordered, contained various ingredients including; guacamole, cheese, tomato, salsa, jalapenos, sour cream and for the meat I chose chicken as it would complement the spicy jalapenos. The elements of each flavour were at the perfect consistency and the crunchy sensation of the nacho chips was absolutely amazing. The first flavour you taste is the warm, comforting flavour of the salsa, then it moves on to a cool tender spicy taste, as of the guacamole and jalapenos. This dish overall has been blazing with flavour from the first bite to the last. This dish had made me feeling like it was the weekend again.
